PRE-CARE

It is crucial to ensure that your scalp is in great condition prior to your SMP treatment. It is recommended to stay away from strong sun

exposure 3-5 days before your

appointment.  It is also important to note that dry scalp, skin irritation, eczema or psoriasis must be cleared before the start of your SMP

treatments. Ensure to keep

your scalp hydrated and moisturized for the best results.

Be sure also to refrain from using topical treatments on the scalp a minimum of 72 hours before treatment, and if possible, remove wig

units one week prior.

To ensure your treatment goes smoothly, be sure to get a good night’s rest, and eat well prior to your appointment to ensure a lowered

pain sensitivity, and if

possible, wear dark coloured clothing in the event of splattering ink. Note that if you have tough skin or raised hypertrophic scars, you

may require a session of micro-needling before your treatment.

Do not shave within 48 hours of your first session.
